Mercerized Crochet from J.&P. Coats

J & P Coats Mercerized Crochet
A fantastic box of Mercerized Crochet from, we think, the 1940s. The company J.&P. Coats was started in 1830 by James & Peter Clark in Scotland. The firm expanded internationally, especially in US and in 1890 listed on the London Stock Exchange. In 1952, they merged with the Clark Thread Co.

Vintage Hats

These sweet vintage hats belonged to my grandmother (b1896-d1984). They were stored in boxes from The Paris, a department store that was located in Salt Lake City, UT and operated from the late 1800's until the late 1960s. I found these old pics of it online but have been unable to find the original photographer to give them credit.
